Both of our children loved their years at Brown Play School.  They enjoyed such a wide variety of activities and the teachers always took projects a notch above what I observed at other area preschools.  The dedicated art teacher spent so much time helping the children create amazing projects in the art studio.  I loved the large outdoor space, the hands-on science activities, and the greenhouse!

Our experience at Brown Play School was amazing! Our daughter spent two wonderful years here. The curriculum is creative and children learn through exploration and discovery. She had amazing teachers who were warm, kind, and caring and instilled a love of school. Because of this, our daughter’s transition to kindergarten was smooth and positive. She left Brown Play School with plenty of confidence and lots of wonderful friends. Our family loves Brown Play School! 

Both of our children have attended preschool at Brown Play School and we couldn’t be happier with their experiences.  The teachers are very skilled and have a lot of knowledge of preschoolers’ development and learning styles.  They are also compassionate and kind–they are the kind of teachers you want your children to have during these important first years of school.   Brown Play School is a special place where, in addition to learning the abc’s and 123’s, children benefit from a full-time art program, the greenhouse, woodworking center, music and even yoga.  The children learn everything from planting flowers to building their own wooden toy.  In addition to being a dynamic and creative preschool with so much to offer, there is also a focus on building relationships and community. Our family has made many friends through Brown Play School and we are grateful to the BPS family for enriching not only our children’s lives but also our family as a whole.
