The love and attention the teachers give to each student is like nothing I’ve seen before, and the Reggio Emilia structure has allowed our child to not only prepare for elementary school, but find new interests in art, music, yoga, and woodworking. They are also compassionate and kind–they are the kind of teachers you want your children to have during these important first years of school. Brown Play School is a special place where, in addition to learning the abc’s and 123’s, children benefit from a full-time art program, the greenhouse, woodworking center, music and even yoga. The children learn everything from planting flowers to building their own wooden toy. In addition to being a dynamic and creative preschool with so much to offer, there is also a focus on building relationships and community. Our family has made many friends through Brown Play School and we are grateful to the BPS family for enriching not only our children’s lives but also our family as a whole.

Brown Play School has been and continues to be an intricate part in our children’s lives. The delivery of the Reggio Emilia curriculum is fantastic. Our daughter (8) and son (6) continue to use the basic skills they learned at BPS every day at school and in life. Brown Play School offered an incredibly loving and nurturing environment for our two children. Each day was filled with new activities and creative projects. No construction paper cut-outs at BPS; my kids brought home handmade clay tiles, paper mache puppets, wooden stools, model cars and airplanes, and much more. The teachers provided just the right amount of guidance for our children as they learned how to become good friends and explore the world around them.
